Cargolux, probably known to many, is a big cargo hauler with its hub at ELLX, being Luxembourg’s one international airport: Findel International Airport. In this review I will be giving it a look, to see what it is all about.
Wow, Martyc, it looks like something went wrong during the install indeed, you're even missing the Cargolux hangar on the southern apron. I read in the manual a note for fs9 users: the installer set the maxvertex to 21 iso 19 so that the bridges at the 24 threshold displays correctly. Setting up that entry in the fs9.cfg to 21 has its downside unfortunately, especially increasing in some paces the 'plateau effect'. I reverted mine to 19, although I am well aware 21 allows a higher terrain definition.
I use FSGenesis' mesh and also have small terrain weird elevation look, but that has to do with fs9 not allowing sloped runways/airports. Sometime we're lucky, scenery include great exclude files, sometime the issue just cant be overcome.
Download mac os x 10.11. Go to preferences, then go to extentions and check that no applications that you don't know about was installed. Last, go to search and reset your browser once again to the one you prefer. If there is nothing, go to general, and reset your browser to the one you prefer.
Looking at an official ELLX chart, the runway average slope is +0.4% on 06. There are 56ft difference between 06 threshold and 24 threshold.
Morevoer the scenery comes with an add-on mesh for Luxembourg, that could also be the cause of the problem. Try to revert the maxvertex entry to 19 and see what happens. But be aware that doing so, you will lose the detailed that comes with the scenery's mesh. Perhaps reworking a little bit the mesh for the upcoming update near ELLX could solve that issue though.
